Rachel Guyet

After her PhD in political sciences on the institutional transfer of labour market policies from Western Germany to the New Länder, Rachel Guyet worked both on research projects and on educational programmes.

On the educational part, she was responsible for a Post-graduate degree specialised on project management in Central and Eastern Europe at ENSAM in Cluny. Then she was responsible for the international relationships with Central and Eastern Europe at the undergraduate programme of Sciences Po-Paris in Dijon where she is still teaching sociology.

On the research aspect, she used to be project manager for European research projects on labour markets and social dialogue in Europe at ASTREES Paris. She is now working on research projects coordinated by CERI-Sciences Po, in partnership with EDF R&D in particular, which deal with energy transition in Europe as well as its social consequences.

The Project "EU-Central Asia in the International System" (EUCAIS) is organised with significant funding from the VolkswagenFoundation and financially supported by the Lifelong Learning Programme JEAN MONNET of the European Commission.

The Volkswagen Foundation is an independent non-profit organization and has been funding research projects in all disciplines since 1962. Within the framework of changing funding initiatives, it gives specific impetus for the scientific community.

The Jean Monnet Programme in the Lifelong Learning Programme stimulates teaching, research and reflection on European integration at higher education institutions throughout the world. Since its inception, the Jean Monnet Programme has been built on the strict respect of the principle of academic autonomy and freedom.
